Classic City Readers is a small book club based in Athens, GA. Books will be chosen from the Radcliffe Publishing Course list of the century's top 100 novels. We meet monthly to discuss books and will share our thoughts through this blog.
Nayely and Liz were having lunch one day, and started talking about Kurt Vonnegut books we had (or hadn’t) read. We realized that there were many books on our “to read” list, and the idea of a book club was born. The name “Classic City Readers” was chosen because we want to focus on reading classic books, and we are based out of Athens, GA…the ClassicCity! Members of our book club are our friends and Nayely’s sisters. Yes, her family makes up 50% of our group!
I love, love, love this idea!!! Thanks for including me. I won't be at the November meeting, as I will be visiting my brother in San Diego for Turkey Day, but I will definitely be there in December!!
